This week we spent two days filming the book trailer for Night School Fracture (called Rupture in France). It was the most amazing shoot I’ve ever experienced.
We filmed most of it at the ruins of Waverley Abbey, a twelfth-century monastery.
The actors were absolutely lovely. It was shot by the awesome Trailermade Films.
We had such a blast.
The trailer is being edited now – I can’t wait to show it to you.
In the meantime, I’ve put together a photo album on Facebook. It’s the first time we’ve ever cast a Carter and a Sylvain, we hope you think they’re as perfect as we do!
Here is my favourite photo of the day. Allie (played by Jessica Sargent), Carter (played by Campbell Challis) and Sylvain (played by Louis Clarke-Clare). They’re all in the actual ancient yew tree that inspired me to write a yew tree into Night School.
I call it Tree of Life.
